The company was born in 1908 in Coudekerque-Branche with the construction of its first oil production plant, under the name of "Huileries Georges Lesieur". Its founder, Georges Lesieur, 60, created it with his three sons and with three former employees of the company where he previously worked. With a turnover of 829 million euros in 2008, Lesieur is the market leader in oils in France. Lesieur represents 33.7% of the market share in volume and 38.5% in value.
